Best New (ish) Wedding Venues in Minnesota & Wisconsin

Planning your dream wedding in Minnesota just got even more exciting! With so many incredible new wedding venues popping up in recent years, couples now have more options than ever to find the perfect setting for their big day. As a wedding photographer, I’m always on the lookout for venues that feel like a blank canvas—places where couples can bring their unique vision to life. From modern, industrial spaces to nature-inspired escapes, these new and trending Minnesota wedding venues for 2024 and 2025 are perfect for a celebration that feels uniquely you. Here are my top picks for the newest wedding venues in MN to help you find the perfect setting for your unforgettable day.

Woodland - Glasshaus

This is Bavaria Down’s newest venue, opening in May 2025. It’s unlike anything the Minnesota wedding industry has seen before. The venue will be featuring a glasshouse nestled under the trees for a magical wedding experience. This option isn’t winter friendly, so rentals will only be available May-October.

Amenities: On-site parking, decorations, lawn games, ceremony and reception chairs, overnight parking, ADA compliant mobile restrooms

Guest Capacity: 200 guests

White and Sable

This is a brand-new "modern elegant" venue in Ham Lake, MN. They are currently under construction and booking weddings for 2025 and 2026. In the plans is a beautiful courtyard area to host ceremonies and cocktail hours.

Amenities: 12 hour rental, 12,000+ square feet of indoor & outdoor spaces, ceremony set-up, ample natural light

Guest Capacity: up to 225 guests

Woods and Co. - Wisconsin

Woods & Co. is located in Pepin, WI, just across the Mississippi. It's luxurious, modern, and I'm particularly excited about their outdoor ceremony site, which will make a breathtaking backdrop for any wedding.

Amenities: Getting ready suites, breathtaking bluff-facing ceremony spot, floor-to-ceiling windows, fire pits, wheelchair accessible

Guest Capacity: up to 250 guests

La Pointe Events - Wisconsin

This venue is located just across the border in Somerset, WI. It's another modern venue that I'm loving. The venue boasts about their floor-to-ceiling windows to take in views of the river and tall pines surrounding the venue.

Amenities: Getting ready suites, floor-to-ceiling windows, on-site parking, golf cart to shuttle guests, tables to seat 6-10 guests

Guest Capacity: 250 guests

The Aisling - Wisconsin

Situated in the middle of Troy Burne Golf Course in Hudson, WI is the Aisling - the rollings hills of the golf course provide stunning backdrops for any wedding. The venue is versatile to fit any style.

Amenities: Indoor/Outdoor spaces, getting ready suites, WIFI

Guest Capacity: 300+

The Lowlands

The Lowlands uses modern architecture to breathe new life into this 1929 building. One of my favorite additions to the building is the circular staircase. Another unique feature is the lower level terrarium - it’s the perfect spot to enjoy cocktail hour! This venue is located in St. Paul.

Amenities: Patio spaces, custom wood tables and chairs, security, venue manager, wheelchair accessible

Guest Capacity: 250

If you’re planning your wedding at one of these amazing venues, I’d be so excited to capture your day! A little bonus: all of these venues (& more) are on my Wedding Venue Bucket List, and you’ll get a special discount for being the first couple to book me there. Reach out—I’d love to hear all about your plans!
